So I'm opening up this blog to post other work that goes beyond just photographs. First up are some cinemagraphs that I created with Yvonne this week by Naksan beach one rainy night. Our plans for the day were cancelled because of the weather, but a random creative spurt brought about by all of the LED lights from the small beach town by night led us to wandering through the rain trying to keep the camera dry and shoot reflections in the rain.
If you don't know what a cinemagraph is they're pretty self-explanatory. This was my first stab at them, but they're basically a seamlessly looping GIF animation that is somewhere between photo and video.
I also shot one at the top of one of the peaks at Seoraksan (mountain) as a bonus.
Hope you enjoyed!
